Engr. Asante Jacob Kwabena is the Road Design and Construction Expert at AP GHANSAH ENGINEERING LTD. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Energy and Natural Resources (UENR) and possesses a strong foundation in highway engineering, geotechnical engineering, project management, and construction supervision.

Jacob has built valuable experience across the road, mining, and building construction sectors. He recently participated in the Talent Development Programme (Construction and Maintenance) at Northern Ashanti Mines Company Limited (NGUVU Mining), where he contributed to the construction, maintenance, and structural assessment of mining infrastructure. His responsibilities included supervising earthworks, excavation, and concrete operations, preparing quantity estimates and technical reports, coordinating multidisciplinary engineering teams, and implementing quality control and quality assurance (QC/QA) procedures to ensure compliance with engineering standards.

Prior to this, Jacob completed his national service with the Ghana Highway Authority (Ashanti Region), where he supervised road construction projects, conducted geotechnical investigations, evaluated construction materials, performed field density testing, concrete mix design, cube strength testing, and monitored surface dressing operations to ensure quality, durability, and compliance with specifications.
