Architectural & Structural Design Expert

Israel Atta-Yeboah is the Architectural and Structural Design Expert at AP GHANSAH ENGINEERING LTD. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Energy and Natural Resources (UENR) and has established himself as a highly skilled professional in architectural design, structural drafting, Building Information Modelling (BIM), and construction supervision.

Currently serving as a Draughtsman/Architect at GKB Constructions and Logistics, Israel is responsible for developing detailed 2D architectural drawings, elevations, structural layouts, and 3D building models for residential and commercial developments. He works closely with project managers and engineers to integrate architectural, structural, and building services requirements, ensuring that every design complies with applicable building regulations, technical specifications, and industry best practices. His role also includes preparing bills of materials, producing realistic architectural visualizations, and coordinating design modifications throughout the project lifecycle.

Prior to this, Israel completed his national service with the Oforikrom Municipal Assembly, where he assisted in the review of architectural and structural drawings submitted for approval, monitored ongoing construction projects, and participated in planning, monitoring, and evaluation activities to ensure compliance with approved designs and engineering standards.

His technical foundation was further strengthened during his internship at the Building and Road Research Institute (BRRI), where he gained practical experience in geotechnical investigations, laboratory soil testing, and field testing, including Direct Cone Penetration Tests (DCPT). He also completed an internship with Ashkon Construction Company, contributing to the architectural design and site supervision of multi-storey and multi-purpose building projects.

Israel is proficient in AutoCAD, Autodesk Revit, ProtaStructure, Microsoft Project, and the Microsoft Office Suite, enabling him to deliver coordinated architectural and structural solutions with accuracy and efficiency. His strong attention to detail, project coordination skills, and ability to transform concepts into practical, buildable designs make him an invaluable member of multidisciplinary project teams.
